WellSpan offers three urgent care options
It’s summertime and it seems as if a family is constantly dealing with allergies, sunburn, sprains and strains and even fractures.
When you need medical attention and flexibility, WellSpan has three urgent care options. All are easy to access with no appointment necessary.
If you’re already a WellSpan patient, WellSpan’s electronic health record lets providers view your medical history on the spot and communicate with your primary care physician, which makes convenient health care better.
WellSpan’s three urgent care options include:
WELLSPAN CAREEXPRESS
Locations: Giant Food Store at 3175 Cape Horn Rd. in Red Lion; Giant Food Store at Delco Plaza, 1255 Carlisle Rd., York, and in the DJ Plaza, 2058 S. Queen St., York.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. Closed on holidays.
Consider CareExpress if you need treatment for minor illness and injury such as a sore throat, ear ache, rash, sinus infection or urinary tract infection.
The locations offer physical exams for driver permits, sports and camp. Immunizations and wellness screenings also are available. CareExpress treats patients 18 months and older.
WELLSPAN READYCARE
Locations and hours: 2250 E. Market St., York, open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekends and holidays. 40 V-Twin Drive, Gettysburg Adams Health Center, open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Closed Sundays and holidays.
ReadyCare treats patients three months and older. The locations have onsite imaging and limited lab services. ReadyCare providers treat minor lacerations, cough/bronchitis/sinusitis, sprains and strains, sunburn and other minor injuries and illnesses.
WELLSPAN ORTHOPEDICS
Location: 25 Monument Rd., Suite 275, Apple Hill Medical Center.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
WellSpan Orthopedics walk-in injury care treats patients of all ages. It has onsite imaging and full service lab in the building.
Providers treat arthritis/back pain, fracture/sudden joint pain as well as sprains and strains.
