WellSpan Health announced that it, along with six of its hospitals were named 2018 award recipients from the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Donate Life Hospital Challenge.

The goal is to increase promotion and awareness of organ, eye and tissue donations. A single donor can save eight lives and positively impact more than 100 more through tissue donation, according to the American Transplant Foundation.

Overall, WellSpan Health received the health system Platinum Award by the Donate Life Hospital Challenge.
